Andreas Vassilaros Architect

Freelance architect collaborating with Marlen Kyriakidis doing architectural and interior design work in Greece. Some of the projects completed are interior design work for the Club Meditteranne hotel chain in Vravrona, Marathon and the island of Cos.Other projects completed are the design and construction of private houses in the luxury suburbs of Athens such as Psychiko. Ekali, Lagonissi, Voula, and a large number of private villas in the island of Mykonos.

The design office specializes in the conceptual design and realization of luxury villas and hotels and pays special attention in the quality of the construction details.

Prior to the establishment of the design office in Athens, Andreas Vassilaros worked with an international firm Gibb, Petermuller and partners and was involved with the realization of number of projects in the Middle East countries. Some of the projects already completed in the period 1979 to 1987 are the refurbishment of Dubai International Airport, the Gulf International Bank headquarters building in Bahrain,the Abu Dhabi International Airport, the Oman Naval Base and a number of commercial buildings.

Andreas Vassilaros and Marlen Kyriakidis are presently involved with the development of housing units in Mykonos and the island of Aigina as well as with other projects in Athens.
